Door Connection was founded by John Drews and Bill Zanon in 2006. Both John and Bill had been
working in the door and hardware industry for over 30 years. During that time, they recognized the need
of the fast paced construction industry in the Chicagoland area for architectural pre-finished and
pre-machined wood doors.
Door Connection is now a 15,000 square foot wholesale distribution center located in Itasca, Illinois
serving the entire midwest area. Door Connection's customer base is comprised of architectural mill
workers, hollow metal/hardware distributors and lumberyards.

Our vast inventory consists of architectural grade wood doors manufactured
by Strek-O, VT-Industries, Ideal Door, Marshfield Door, and Graham Manufacturing.
We also stock residential grade Masonite Corporation and Ledco Inc. doors.
Door Connection is a Warnock Hersey secondary location manufacturer for fire rated wood doors. We machine
for all builders hardware, cut in lite/louver openings complete with glazing.
Full rework modification, pre-hanging and pre-finising is available.
